About Waldoch

Waldoch Crafts of Forest Lake, Minnesota has been converting vans and trucks since 1974, when Donald Waldoch built cabinets into a friend's van in his parents' garage. An early relationship with Ford moved the business out of the garage and into a production facility, and through the 1990s conversion boom Waldoch held a top-ten sales and quality position with Ford and GM among more than 150 competitors. When the boom ended in the early 2000s it was one of only ten conversion companies left. All six of Don's children have worked at the company and two of his sons still run it. The current catalogue spans conversion vans, Ford Transit camper vans, custom and lifted trucks, SUVs, and mobility, limo, shuttle and prisoner-transport upfits, sold through a dealer network.
