The brand is owned by Kline Van and Specialty Rentals, a family business tracing back to Kline Motors, founded in 1947 by Woodrow Wilson Kline; Kline Van later upfitted passenger vans commercially for years before launching Vandoit to serve the van-life and adventure-van market under current owner Brent Kline. Vandoit is a registered NHTSA final-stage manufacturer, is RVIA-certified, and holds Ford Pro upfitter status.
