About Travel Lite RV
Travel Lite RV is a builder of lightweight truck campers and ultra-light travel trailers headquartered in Syracuse, Indiana, in the Elkhart County RV manufacturing region. The company originated in New Paris, Indiana, and relocated production to a newly built Syracuse industrial-park complex beginning in 2018. It underwent a financial restructuring and change of ownership in 2019-2020, and is now held by a group of local investors and led by COO/General Manager Ryan Rebar. Current product lines include Rove Lite and Rove XL ultralight travel trailers, the relaunched Falcon 2.0 travel trailer, and Up Country and Extended Stay truck campers, built with aluminum-frame construction and Azdel composite paneling. Travel Lite sells exclusively through a dealer network and does not sell direct to consumers.

Milestones
- 1968Founded in New Paris, Indiana by Larry Johns
- 2018Began roughly $5 million expansion into a new Syracuse, Indiana industrial-park complex with a factory (two production lines), RV repair shop, dealership and fiberglass shop
- 2019Company underwent a restructuring and companywide layoffs; Ryan Rebar named COO in October
- 2020President Dustin Johns departed in May; ownership passed to a group of local investors; new management team relaunched the company as "Travel Lite 2.0" with the new Rove Lite ultralight travel trailer
- 2023Relaunched the Falcon travel trailer as the Falcon 2.0 with aluminum frame and double-sided Azdel wall construction
- 2024Introduced aluminum-stud, vacuum-bond-laminated truck camper construction and new Rove Lite Classic and Up Country 775 Extreme models at the Elkhart Open House
