“Handcrafted Teardrop Trailers”
About Timberleaf Trailers
Timberleaf Trailers designs and hand-builds teardrop camping trailers in Grand Junction, Colorado. The company was founded in 2015 by master woodworker and Army veteran Kevin Molick, who built the first Timberleaf Classic after looking for a way to explore Colorado and the American West without sacrificing comfort. Each trailer is built one at a time on a welded steel frame with hand-finished hardwood cabinetry and aluminum paneling. In late 2023, ownership passed to Tom Pesek, an electrical engineer, who continues to run the company. Timberleaf currently offers three models: the Classic, the Pika, and the Kestrel.
How they build
Timberleaf builds every trailer by hand, one at a time, combining traditional woodworking craftsmanship — including self-milled hardwoods and hand-finished aluminum panels — with rugged, overland-capable construction, prioritizing durability and attention to detail over mass production.
