Sequoia + Salt is a campervan and truck-camper builder based in Manasquan, New Jersey, founded in 2020 by Chris Shashaty. What began with one converted personal van (rented out on Outdoorsy during the pandemic) has grown into a roughly 10-person shop with 250+ builds completed, offering semi-custom Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, and Ram ProMaster conversions, the Big Ripper slide-in truck camper, a van service/upgrade center, and commercial fleet upfitting. The company holds Mercedes-Benz eXpertUpfitter certification and states it has earned RVIA certification for its vans.
