About Recreation by Design
Recreation by Design is a family-owned RV manufacturer based in Elkhart, Indiana, building custom-order travel trailers and fifth wheels, including its Baypoint destination-trailer line, alongside commercial units sold under its Workforce RVs brand. Per the company's own site, the Rush family has built RVs since the 1950s, when Lewis Rush and Virginia Rush started the family business; the trade has since passed through three generations, with Andrew Rush now leading the company. Recreation by Design fabricates its own steel chassis in-house and sells both factory-direct custom units and Baypoint units through a dealer network.
