About Overland Explorer Vehicles

Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) builds composite expedition truck campers in Red Deer, Alberta. It was formed in 2015 as a division of Lite Industries Inc. by Mark Cymbaluk and Arnold Baker, who had previously built service and utility truck bodies for Alberta's oil and gas industry. OEV builds four camper platforms — from slide-in units to fully chassis-mounted cabins — using its Gen 4 Advanced Fiberglass Composite System construction bonded to a powder-coated aluminum exoskeleton. It sells through a network of dealers across Canada and the US alongside direct consultations booked with its own sales team.

How they build

OEV says its composite-panel-and-aluminum-exoskeleton construction exists to meet the demands of serious backcountry expedition travel rather than campground use, and backs that claim with a five-year structural warranty on every camper.

  • Gen 4 AFCS composite construction
  • Aluminum exoskeleton framing
  • Flatbed and chassis-mounted expedition cabins
  • 5-year structural warranty
  • Off-grid Victron solar and power systems

This is the Google rating for Overland Explorer Vehicles's business location — the offices and factory, not the RVs they build. Reviews there often come from employees, visitors and job applicants, so read it as a signal about the company, not the coach.
