About Outdoors RV Manufacturing
Outdoors RV Manufacturing builds travel trailers, fifth wheels (Glacier Peak), and toy haulers (Trail Series) designed for four-season, off-pavement camping, from its factory in La Grande, Oregon. It was founded in 2009 by Ron and Sherry Nash, who had earlier founded sister company Northwood Manufacturing (Arctic Fox, Nash brands) in La Grande in 1993. Model lines include Creek Side, Timber Ridge, Blackstone, Back Country, and the premium Titanium trim package, sold through a dealer network across the western United States and western Canada.
How they build
Outdoors RV states its goal is not to be the largest manufacturer or chase market share, but to design RVs specifically for cold-weather, rugged-terrain camping rather than 'the pavement and the 3 summer months' that it says most RVs are built for.
