About Off Grid Trailers
Off Grid Trailers (OGT) designs and builds off-road-capable overland and teardrop camping trailers, sold across Canada and the United States under model lines including Pando, Expedition, Switchback, and Sprocket. The company's North American headquarters is in Calgary, Alberta, with additional retail locations in Edmonton, Alberta and Denver/Centennial, Colorado. Founded in 2016, OGT started as a garage-built passion project before scaling into full production. In 2022 it merged with Northern Lite to form the Outdoor Adventure Group (OAG).
How they build
OGT describes itself as having started as a passion project — the first trailers were garage-built, and the company says it continues to iterate its designs based on direct customer feedback rather than a fixed factory blueprint.
