About ModVans
ModVans designs and builds modular Class B camper vans on the Ford Transit chassis, converting cargo vans into multipurpose family, work, and camping vehicles with removable, reconfigurable components. The company was founded in 2017 by husband-and-wife team PJ and Laurie Tezza in Ventura, California, after they built a personal prototype to meet their own family travel needs. ModVans has since relocated its manufacturing operations, most recently to a 30,000-sq-ft factory in Sparks, Nevada, and sells its CV1, CV1/X, CV1/M, and MH1 model lines direct to consumers via its website.
How they build
ModVans aims to replace bulky traditional RVs, SUVs, and trucks with a single lightweight, driveable, fully modular vehicle that can switch between family transport, work use, and off-grid camping, prioritizing innovation in modularity and onboard power/technology.
