Modern Buggy Trailers
“Providing durable, all-weather, affordable RVs that bring families together to explore”
About Modern Buggy Trailers
Modern Buggy RV (branded Mod-Bug) builds lightweight, affordable overland-style travel trailers and truck campers at its facility in Edwardsburg, Michigan, near the Elkhart-Goshen RV manufacturing hub. The company was founded in late 2019 by Wally Holem and purchased in February 2022 by Earl Williams, a 30-year RV industry veteran who previously held an executive role at Patrick Industries. Under Williams, Modern Buggy produces its Little Buggy, Big Buggy, Country Born, Hopper, and truck camper lines using custom aluminum frames and AZDEL composite panels, and sells through a dealer network.
How they build
Modern Buggy focuses on lightweight, budget-friendly RVs that can be towed by ordinary SUVs and midsize vehicles rather than large trucks, aiming to make overland-style camping accessible to more families; the company also states it values relationships, durable products, and the outdoors.
