Lone Peak Overland
“Basecamp for Adventure”
About Lone Peak Overland
Lone Peak Overland designs and manufactures custom, made-to-order pop-up wedge-style truck bed campers, sold and shipped direct to consumers from Wenatchee, Washington. The company was launched in fall 2022 after its founder, previously the owner of a camera-accessories company, had camping gear stolen on a hunting trip and set out to design a lighter, cheaper alternative to existing wedge campers. Campers use a bolted aluminum-extrusion frame with bonded aluminum composite panels rather than welded construction, and are offered with a range of add-on accessories for tents, sleeping, lighting, cooking and gear storage. The company sells directly through its own website with regional pickup/installation locations rather than a dealer network.
How they build
Lone Peak's design approach favors simplicity and iteration over complexity, using bolted extrusions and bonded panels instead of welding to cut cost and part count while keeping the camper lightweight (starting under 400 lbs) and highly customizable to each owner's adventure needs.
