Living Vehicle designs and builds luxury off-grid travel trailers and fifth wheels (its HD Series, GT Series, and an announced CyberTrailer), founded in Santa Barbara, California and now also operating a showroom in Castaic, CA. The company was founded in 2017 building on architect Matthew Hofmann's prior mobile-living design firm, Hofmann Architecture; it is today led by Matthew Hofmann (Co-Founder & CEO) together with his father Walter Hofmann (Co-Founder & Chief Service Officer). Living Vehicle markets its trailers around self-sufficient, off-grid power and water generation for net-zero mobile living.

Living Vehicle states its long-term goal is to create a 'completely self-supporting, net-zero product' that lets people pursue an outdoor, off-grid lifestyle without sacrificing comfort, combining solar/battery power and water generation with high-end residential-style design.
