About K-Z RV

KZ RV (K. Z., Inc.) is a manufacturer of travel trailers, fifth wheels, and toy haulers headquartered in Shipshewana, Indiana. Founded in 1972 by Daryl Zook, who began building truck campers out of a gas station in Middlebury, Indiana, the company grew into a roughly 530,000-square-foot manufacturing complex. Thor Industries acquired KZ in a deal effective May 1, 2014. KZ now produces brands including Connect, Durango, Sportsmen, Sportster, and Venom, plus Venture RV products such as Sonic, Stratus, and SportTrek.
