About Hunter RMV

Hunter RMV is a small custom-build shop in Minden, Nevada that converts ex-military and heavy-duty 4x4 chassis — including M939 6x6 and LMTV platforms — into bespoke expedition trucks and off-road RVs. It was founded in 2015 by Keith Storey after he found no commercially available expedition vehicle that offered the space, capability, and affordability his family needed; his first prototype, nicknamed 'The Beast,' was built on an M939 6x6 military chassis. The company builds both fully custom commissions (such as the Predator 4x4 and Globe Ranger 4x4) and a smaller number of prebuilt models, and has also begun offering short-term overland rentals in Baja California, Mexico.

How they build

Hunter RMV emphasizes accountability and transparent communication throughout each custom build, drawing on the team's combined fabrication experience to fuse military-grade toughness and off-road capability with home-like comfort and reliability.

  • Military-chassis expedition trucks (M939, LMTV)
  • Custom off-road overland builds
  • Four-season self-sufficient campers
  • Baja California overland rentals
