About Host Campers
Host Campers (legal name HI Manufacturing, Inc.) is a truck camper manufacturer based in Bend, Oregon. The company was founded in 2000 by Dave Hogue and March Storch — described on the company's own site as 'two legendary names in the RV industry' and founders of the Beaver Coaches motorhome line — and was sold to new owners Duane Stevens and Duane Walker in April 2025. Host builds five handmade, high-end truck camper models (Mammoth, Yukon, Everest, Cascade, and Tahoe Short Bed) at its Bend facility, sold through authorized dealers, with build-your-own customization and off-grid package options.
How they build
Each HOST camper is described as a handmade masterpiece built with unsurpassed attention to detail, quality components, and innovative engineering, reflecting the founders' earlier experience building the Beaver Coaches line.
