“Custom Camper Vans. Built by Hand.”
About GTRV
GTRV is a custom camper van conversion shop in Sebastopol, California, building pop-top and full conversions on Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter, RAM ProMaster, and Toyota Sienna platforms (with RAM ProMaster City builds in development for 2027). The business traces back to a camper van conversion company established in Richmond, British Columbia in the early 1990s that changed ownership and names before relocating to Sebastopol; the company's marketing dates continuous operation to 1994. Mark Landon, a mechanical engineer, bought the business in 2018 and now owns and runs the shop, which builds every van at its Gravenstein Highway workshop in Sebastopol.
How they build
GTRV says its mission is to "transform ordinary vans into purpose-built adventure vehicles," taking what it describes as a personal, collaborative approach that starts with understanding how a specific customer travels rather than selling a fixed package.
