About Gala RV

Gala RV builds the Montecarlo line of Class B recreational vehicles at its factory in Terrebonne, Quebec, on RAM ProMaster and Ford Transit chassis. The brand is part of Groupe Prestige, founded in 1988 by Richard Galarneau; Gala Conversions inc. was formally incorporated in 2016 after roughly five years of R&D that began around 2011, and the first Montecarlo units reached the market in spring 2015. The Montecarlo is built with an all-fiberglass and composite interior, using no wood, across eight large molded pieces including the floor, shower, and kitchen units. Richard Galarneau's daughter, Jessica Galarneau, has run day-to-day operations for about a decade, with longtime business partner Marc Ménard overseeing plant operations.

How they build

Gala RV markets the Montecarlo around extended off-grid autonomy — oversized fresh, grey, and black water tanks plus multiple 12V and propane appliance options meant to let owners go roughly a week without refilling or dumping — combined with a rounded, European-styled all-fiberglass interior in place of wood cabinetry.
