About Ember RV
Ember RV is an independent RV manufacturer founded in 2021 in Bristol, Indiana by Ashley Bontrager Lehman together with Chris Barth, Steve Delagrange and Ernie Miller. Lehman is the granddaughter of Jayco founders Lloyd and Bertha Bontrager and daughter of former Jayco president and CEO Derald Bontrager; after Jayco's 2016 sale to Thor, she set out to build a new family-style, independent RV company in Elkhart County. Ember launched with the Overland Series — genuinely off-road, off-grid capable travel trailers conceived by co-founder Chris Barth — at a time when few mainstream builders addressed the overlanding trend. The lineup has since grown to include the Touring Edition of conventional travel trailers and the value-oriented E-Series, with innovations such as the reconfigurable EmberTrack rail system and the EmberLink smart-control system. The company sells through an independent dealer network across North America and backs units with its transferable "Easy as 1-2-3" warranty (2-year limited plus 3-year structural). Ember positions itself as the most sought-after independent RV brand, pairing product innovation with a deliberate people-first company culture.
