About East to West RV

East to West RV was founded in 2017 by Lisa Liegl Rees — daughter of Forest River founder Peter Liegl, and literally born into the RV industry — with a clear purpose: build quality, feature-packed towables at an affordable price. In July 2018 she sold the company to Forest River, making East to West an official division of the Elkhart, Indiana-based manufacturer, and continued to lead it as founder and group general manager. The company launched with the Della Terra travel trailer line, joined by Alta and Silver Lake travel trailers. In 2020 it expanded into fifth wheels with Tandara, later adding the luxury Ahara fifth wheel, and has since grown into motorized RVs with the Entrada Class C line, plus toy hauler variants across its towable brands. East to West grew rapidly into one of Forest River's notable success stories, operating from the Elkhart area. Founder Lisa Liegl Rees stepped down from the company in 2025. East to West RVs are sold through a dealer network across North America and backed by Forest River's one-year limited warranty.
