About Dutchmen RV
Dutchmen RV is a towable RV manufacturer founded in 1988 in Goshen, Indiana, by Dave Hoefer, Glen M. Sylvester, and Larry Schrock. The young company grew explosively: by 1990 it was the second-largest manufacturer of travel trailers and fifth wheels in the United States, and in 1991 it became the first OEM ever acquired by THOR Industries. Today Dutchmen operates as part of Keystone RV Company within THOR Industries, still building in the Goshen area. Its current lineup centers on value-focused towables including the Aspen Trail travel trailers, Kodiak lightweight travel trailers, and the Coleman-branded towables built for Camping World; over the years the brand has also produced well-known lines such as Voltage toy haulers, Denali, and Aerolite. Dutchmen's positioning is affordable family camping backed by unusually strong coverage for the price segment: every new Dutchmen is backed by a 3-year structural warranty in addition to its 1-year limited warranty.
