About DRV Luxury Suites
DRV Luxury Suites builds luxury fifth wheels engineered specifically for extended and full-time living. The company was founded in 2002 as DoubleTree RV by David Fought, as a subsidiary of SunnyBrook Manufacturing, with the goal of making RVs that could genuinely serve as full-time homes; the first units were produced in 2003. In 2008 the name was changed to DRV to avoid confusion with the hotel chain. In January 2015, THOR Industries acquired DRV Luxury Suites and placed it under its Heartland RV subsidiary; in 2025 THOR consolidated the Heartland brands under Jayco, and DRV now operates within the Jayco family in northern Indiana. Long based in Howe, Indiana, the brand today is headquartered in the Middlebury area alongside its Jayco sister companies. DRV builds two lines: Mobile Suites, its flagship luxury fifth wheel with residential kitchens and the heaviest-duty construction in its class, and Full House, a luxury fifth-wheel toy hauler with a spacious garage designed for full-time living. Units are sold through a dealer network and backed by a 1-year limited plus 3-year structural warranty.
