About Drifter Camper Vans

Drifter Vans is a Michigan custom camper van builder working exclusively on Ford Transit and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. Every build is laid out by a Production Designer and an Interior Designer before construction, then built on the production floor in Southfield. The company states it completes twenty-four builds a year, each numbered, attributed to a named builder and entered into what it calls the Drifter Archive Registry on completion. Founder Paul Domish started the company after a year of travel in South America ended with COVID border closures in early 2020.

How they build

The Drifter Coachcraft Standard: every van is designed before it is built, with structure, cabinetry, electrical and interior finish planned and executed together as one integrated object rather than bolted on afterwards. It applies to Signature Layouts and blank-canvas builds alike.

This is the Google rating for Drifter Camper Vans's business location — the offices and factory, not the RVs they build. Reviews there often come from employees, visitors and job applicants, so read it as a signal about the company, not the coach.
