About Coachmen RV

Coachmen RV was founded in 1964 in Middlebury, Indiana by brothers Tom, Keith, and Claude Corson, whose first year of production totaled 12 travel trailers, one truck camper, and 80 truck caps. In December 2008 Coachmen became a brand of Forest River, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway company, and it remains headquartered in Middlebury, where its primary campus covers more than 220 acres. Now with over 900,000 RVs built and sold, Coachmen is a full-line, value-focused builder of Class A, B, and C motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, and camping trailers sold through hundreds of dealers.
