About Coach House
Coach House was founded in 1985 by Ruben Gerzeny and his sons David and Steve, who began converting vans into motorhomes in a 5,000 sq ft warehouse in Venice, Florida. Today the family's third generation helps build premium Class B and B+ coaches (the Platinum series and Arriva) in Nokomis, Florida, sold almost entirely factory-direct in deliberately limited numbers. The company's signature is its patented one-piece, carbon-fiber-reinforced fiberglass body shell, credited with a quieter ride and fewer leaks than multi-piece RV bodies.
How they build
Low-volume, high-touch manufacturing: a patented one-piece fiberglass body (patented 2000), marine-industry-inspired interiors with materials like Corian and low-emission plywood, and a long-tenured workforce whose bonuses are tied to quality (warranty costs come out of shared profits).
