About Casita Travel Trailers
Casita Enterprises was founded in 1983 by John and Connie Lang and has been family-owned ever since, building molded-fiberglass travel trailers in Rice, Texas and selling them factory-direct. The lineup spans 15-, 17-, and 24-foot models (Patriot, Spirit, Independence, Heritage, Liberty, and Discovery) known for light weight, low maintenance, and unusually strong resale value. As of a 2019 company interview, Casita was averaging around 700 trailers a year with just under 100 employees, often carrying a months-long waiting list.
How they build
Trailers are built as molded fiberglass shells on steel frames with insulated interiors, produced carefully in limited runs with multiple inspection points — including simulated severe-rainstorm leak testing far beyond typical industry drizzle tests.
