About Camp King Industries
Camp King Industries is an Australian manufacturer founded in 2016 in Crestmead (Brisbane), Queensland by award-winning sheet metal fabricator Lucas Schubring and partner Sarah Wilson, as an offshoot of their aus Metal Fabrication business. It builds aluminium Outback Series canopy campers, ute trays and hardtop rooftop tents in its own Brisbane factory, and has exported to the US market since 2018, where products are sold through campkingus.com and US dealers.
How they build
All products are certified Australian Made, handmade from scratch on-site from Australian-sourced components — BlueScope steel, Australian canvas, mattresses and awning poles. The company says it does not import or mass produce.
