About Boreas Campers

Boreas Campers builds off-road, off-grid squaredrop camper trailers, founded in 2015 by former power-plant engineer Matt Reichel, who built his first prototype in a one-car garage on Boreas Pass in Breckenridge, Colorado. The company hand-assembles its AT, XT, and EOS-12 campers, plus UB base cabins and bare chassis, in Pueblo, Colorado, and operates under parent Into the Wild Overland, LLC. Its trailers target overland travelers who want self-sufficiency in the backcountry.

How they build

Boreas uses 'Zero Wood' construction — all-metal and composite bodies with no wooden components — to eliminate rot and mold while cutting weight, and backs the approach with a lifetime warranty on the chassis and exoskeleton. Every camper is hand-assembled by its Pueblo team.
