About Blue Mountain Camper Co.
Blue Mountain Camper Co. is a small family-owned builder of teardrop-style mini campers in Westfield, North Carolina, started in 2024 by Jonathan Sechrist, who previously ran Rustic Trail Teardrop Campers from 2012 to 2020. Its Acorn, Appalachian, Raven, and Mansfield models are fully composite, rot-free trailers sold factory-direct with no dealer network. The four-person build crew has over 14 years of experience and more than 500 teardrop-style campers built.
How they build
All models use a fully rot-free composite body (floor, walls, and roof, with no wood structure), spray-foam insulated ceilings, and awning-style pop-out windows; campers are built to order and sold direct to keep prices affordable.
